Yes I know its not 1976 but this seemed to fit the occasion. Looks like a hot week coming up for most of the country.Just made some choc. chip walnut cookies, going out now to feed the birds and water the plants. I always get up early and do most of my work before it gets to hot. That makes more time for reading in the afternoon. Might go to the Libray later, need a couple of extra books to take to PA. this coming weekend for the softball tourney.
Going to my Daughters for the Fourth, also Grand daughter Marissa's Birhtday.
A charity pickup is coming next week so I have been getting rid of a lot of stuff, seem to be on a cleaning out sort of state of mind.
Well have a Happy Fourth, and remember that one end of the SPARKLER can be pretty hot.

Happy 4th to you, too. Those choc. chip walnut cookies sound so good. I'd love to have one. It is going to be so hot here, I don't know if I'm going to go to our parade or not. Probably will, though, it takes a lot to miss going to our parade.
You're so funny, Nancy Jo! The end of the sparkler is hot, indeed. And so is the great outdoors. I'm feeling very cranky because I can't play outside. I hope you and your family have a safe, happy and cool 4th!
If it doesn't rain here today, we won't be setting off sparklers. We have a wild fire warning here.
Happy 4th...the day after! LOL! I bet you're exhausted after your busy week! I just got back in from watering...I can't get out there early enough to beat the heat. It's 91 and it's only 9:30...geez Louise!
I'm going to turn the air on, close the windows and clean the guest room. My youngest son is coming Sunday.....I think...you never really know with these kids!
Love your holiday decor!
