A few small rose buds and the pretty Moc orange flowers, which I love the smell of. At least I think its a moc orange?? that's what we have always called it. I'm going to try and press a few of the flowers for my book.
Rain here all day, so no playing outside or sitting on the porch. Been watching some of the goings on in England with the Queen's Jubilee , made sugar cookies and a small apple crisp for Richard. We also went and bought a new printer and fax machine, but we have to wait for someone smarter then we are to come help hook it up.Its best to stop when step one is confusing.
Just wanted to mention that blogging friend Sheila made that white dresser Dollie for me.

Yes Nancy, the white flowers are Philadelphus coronarius aka Mock Orange. My grandparents had one next to their garage when I was a kid and the fragrance was heavenly when it bloomed! Enjoy them while you can!
I concur with your other commenter although I certainly didn't know the Latin name for it. We had one in our yard when my children were little and it did smell AMAZING! I need to plant one when I get to my farmhouse. Did Richard go out in the rain and get those for you or before the rain started? He is a keeper, I declare!
Hi Nancy Jo! How are you today? I hope you are having a lovely morning. What beautiful flowers, I bet they smell heavenly! What a pretty doily too, and such a nice gift. It has been raining off and on here too. We had a big tornado warning yesterday. One was spotted just 5 miles away, thankfully it touch ground, but we had a scary hour yesterday afternoon. I am sorry I haven't been popping over as much to visist, I have been having an extra busy month but hopefully things will be quieting down again and I can get back to commenting the way I would like to. I always appreciate your comments so much! Have a lovely afternoon ahead! With Love, Delisa :)
P.S. Sorry for all the spelling errors, I was typing too fast! :) Delisa
