Looks like a hot one today. I brought in a few of my Roses, they are fading fast in the heat. The stars and stripes are a few more of the cute things that came in my Fourth of July Swap with Tammy. There were so many cute things in that box. If you didn't see the box its a few posts back.Going to be a busy weekend and week coming up.Two Birthday parties, Softball travel to PA. the weekend after the Fourth for three days. Love going to these things, just don't like the travel part.
Fed the birds this morning and filled the bird bath. I had to fill it three times yesterday, it goes down fast in thes hot weather. Alot of the birds get in there and act foolish and splash the water all over taking a bath.
Been reading a lot, in fact I will have to make a trip to the Library before we go on that softball trip.Just finished a book,"NORTH RIVER" by Pete Hamill. Nice story.Well off to get everything I can caught up, busy weekend and week coming up.

I too have to fill the bird bath several times a day...but I don't mind.
The little birds enjoy it so!

I just came in...103...yesterday got to 109. I go out early in the a.m. to water and try and get some stuff done. Now, I'm in, garage door closed with car in and I'm taking a bath and getting my jammies on! It's only 3:30 and I have more work to do inside but I'll be clean and cool. I have little decor for the 4th...but I do have my flags! Your decorations are so cute and your rose is big and beautiful! You do sound busy! I have no plans and that's the way I like it. Staying home is my favorite thing to do. I think I'm turning into an old "fuddy-duddy" whatever that is.
I need to make some cookies or maybe one of those jello poke cakes...I think I'll do cookies and save the cake for the 4th.
